Survived by brother, Michael (Joan) Serkin; daughters Amy (Benjamin) Brachio and Bridget (Tim) Burns; grandchildren, Abby, Lily and Caleb; nephews, Jonathan and Gregory and countless friends. Sandra was a kind, strong and wise woman that was an inspiration to every person she encountered. She staged a courageous 30 year battle against ALS, providing hope and counsel to others diagnosed with this devastating disease. Memorial service THURSDAY, Feb. 25th at 3 PM at HODROFF-EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 126 E. Franklin Ave., Mpls. A gathering with friends and family WILL BE HELD AFTER THE SERVICE until 6:00 pm.
